Diesel Engines: Be aware, the fuel pump may be in the fuel tank (being in the fuel tank has no effect on the application). The Fuel Mule is to be clamped on the steel or rubber fuel line near the engine if possible or between the fuel tank and the engine. The Fuel Mule must clamp on the fuel line going to the engine. Keep away from computer and computer chips on the engine or vehicle a minimum of 8 inches. The plastic ties are only used as necessary. On some diesel engines there is room on the fuel line between the fuel pump and the engine. This is good, but not necessary. The Fuel Mule may not be as effective on some Cummins diesel engines that have electronic devices inside of the engine cover. When you fill up your fuel tank, record the mileage on your speedometer and the gallons of fuel that you put into your tank. After you have filled the fuel tank a few times, compare the miles per gallon information with the information that you have from before you installed The Fuel Mule unit. This will show you your miles per gallon fuel savings. Should you not want to install the Less Fuel on your vehicle yourself, then have a reliable auto mechanic do it for you.

Furnaces: The fuel line is not cut. The Fuel Mule will clamp onto the fuel line. Keep away from computer and computer chips a minimum of 6 inches. The Fuel Mule unit is to be clamped onto the fuel line coming to your furnace. The Fuel Mule unit is to be on the fuel line just before the furnace manual shut-off valve. To check your savings on natural gas look at your bills for the cubic feet used before and after. To check your savings on propane or fuel oil compare the gallons used before and after The Fuel Mule has been installed. In our tests we are achieving results that are up to 30% savings in fuel.

On All Engines: If you do not get an improvement in fuel efficiency move The Fuel Mule unit close to the engine to by-pass interfering equipment. On some engines, it is difficult to locate near the engine. You may want to replace the fuel line going to the engine with a longer fuel line that will allow you to install The Fuel Mule near the engine. Keep The Fuel Mule away from the engine at lease two inches. On many gas engines, The Fuel Mule unit will work at any location between the fuel pump and the engine fuel rail or carburetor.

Should The Fuel Mule become defective, ship it freight paid to The Fuel Mule C/O SSPI, 3308 Emerson Avenue #8, Indianapolis, Indiana 46107 with your name, shipping address and the name of the item that The Fuel Mule was originally installed on. This warranty is limited to The Fuel Mule product only and does not cover any damage due to improper installation or labor incurred in replacement.
Guarantee:
If for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the The Fuel Mule within 90 days of purchase, return The Fuel Mule unit in its original container along with the original purchase receipt to The Fuel Mule C/O SSPI, 3308 Emerson Avenue #8, Indianapolis, Indiana 46107 within 90 days of purchase, for a refund of the original purchase price. When shipping, you pay the freight.
